Somatic meditation is a body-based form of mindfulness-awareness practice. By guiding our attention into the depths of the body, these practices bring us into contact with a fundamental sense of ease and well-being, with the openness and mystery of our human lives. The Somatic Meditation Society is a Vancouver-based community that shares this work through a series of weekend workshops and a week-long retreat on Salt Spring Island.
